Rein Wijnands founder

I am a curious person with many interests, from art to crafts, nature, and personalities. Film is where all these interests come together and where I can distill them into an emotionally compelling story.

As an all-round filmmaker specializing in cinematography, I am responsible for shaping the visual image to match the director's vision. I also enjoy doing this with the necessary prior knowledge. I conduct extensive preliminary research, enabling me to create strong images that are substantively accurate and well-substantiated.

When I was younger, I took my computers and laptops apart and was curious about what they looked like on the inside. This deep interest in technology has stuck with me, which is why I now also enjoy figuring out how everything works. This means I have extensive technical knowledge of all aspects surrounding the camera. This makes me a strong asset to any team. But I am also a great visual translator for directors who are less technically inclined, I help them move from vision to concrete visuals.

At first glance, I appear calm, but inside, there is a constant creative restlessness. I draw inspiration from everywhere. Whether I am waiting for the train, working, or simply staring at a shadow, I see a story everywhere. In the creases of a street, I discover a world, in a sunbeam, the beginning of a scene.
While reality goes on, I am already playing the movie in my head.

Our story

Story Studio Entertainment.png

Story Studio Entertainment was born from a group of friends and brotherly love. But also a passion for storytelling and creating art. Originally focused more on fiction and fantasy.

Just as the people grew up, so did the small company. And the focus has shifted from fiction and fantasy more towards clients and real, impactful stories.
